Food Management Search is Hiring a Remote IT Specialist

IT Specialist

  • Based in Hampton, VA with periodic travel to other VA offices and some days from remote/home office.
Responsibilities:
  • Tier 1/2 helpdesk support
  • User creation / deletion / basic maintenance
  • Maintain and manage Computer Use Policy records
  • Order product from vendors if necessary
  • Manage and maintain any additional equipment at the office locations
Assist with user workstation setups and configuration (computer, monitors, phone, etc.)
  • Document and maintain basic user procedures
  • Assist other Infrastructure teammates with projects
  • Travel regionally to office locations within

Hampton, Virginia based with periodic travel to support offices in Richmond/Manassas/Norfolk/Chesapeake, VA)

  • They would have a home base but travel to other locations would be as needed.
  • Other duties as necessary
Work Hours
  • Standard work hours consist of an 8 hour workday
  • Must be available to work on rare occasion on weekends
Skills
  • Excellent verbal communication
  • Documentation writing
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience
  • Basic Microsoft Windows client use
  • Basic Microsoft Office use
